Smooth commutes with Föli

Updated bus network and new frequently running trunk lines led Föli into a new era on 1 July 2025. As a result of the update, the entire Turku internal bus network was renewed. The trunk lines facilitate and accelerate everyday travel in the Turku region. It improves accessibility in the Föli area and boosts the service level of public transport, while also enabling smoother commutes with public transport.

Föli is an easy choice for commuting

Trunk lines form the foundation of the new Föli network. At times, the trunk lines run so frequently that it is not necessary to check the timetable before going to the bus stop. In addition to the trunk lines, there are many supporting lines such as inter-municipal services and regional services.

The ring trunk line 10 / 10A adds new travel options, as its route is a ring around the city. While Föli’s interchanges have previously typically taken place at the Market Square, trunk line 10 enables more flexible change from one line to another at other intersections of the trunk lines and also improves connections from different parts of the Föli area to large commuting areas, such as Kupittaa and Perno, for example.

Föli does not use zone pricing, which means that the price is the same regardless of the length of the journey. Travelling is even more affordable if your employer offers the commuter benefit.

The commuter benefit is a fringe benefit that an employer can offer an employee for commuting. It is personal, and the employee can use it to load their own travel card. In addition to commuting, the benefit may also be used for leisure travel. It is available through Föli, Epassi, Smartum and Edenred.
