Föli's fleet will be renewed from 1.7.2025
Updated bus network with added trunk lines will bring Föli into a new era 1 July 2025. With the update, the entire bus network within Turku will be renewed, both the routes and the numbers of the lines.
The new trunk lines will create a denser network in the Föli area, making traffic clearer, improving availability and increasing Föli's total traffic volume by around 20%.
In addition to direct connections, the more frequent service intervals and the new ring line (10/10A) will improve the variety of routes and transfers, also outside the Turku market square.
How will the change affect traffic in Lieto from 1 July?
Line 6 from Lieto to Turku and from there to Naantali will continue on the same route and with the same line number. Trunk line 6 also operates night services to Lieto on Fri-Sat and Sat-Sun nights. While the line remains familiar, you now have better connections than before.
The new 10/10A trunk line will diversify connections throughout the Föli area. Coming from Lieto, the nearest interchange to the 10/10A lines is Hämeenkatu in Turku. It is advisable to change at the stops at T-sairaala or Halistentie.
The ring line around Turku will intersect with all trunk lines and significantly improve interchange possibilities and public transport accessibility throughout the region. In addition, the line 10 will take you directly to places such as the Impivaara sports facilities and the Port of Turku. The line 10A will take you to places like Skanssi or Raisio's shopping centres. Both also run to Kupittaa station and Tyks T-hospital.
The services of lines 2B and 2C will be replaced by line 600 (Littoinen - Varissuo - Kohmo - Skanssi), which will also serve people from Littoinen to Lieto. Line 600 provides connections to Skanssi, among other places, and also serves as a link to trunk line 2 in Kohmo and trunk lines 3/3A and 4 in Varissuo Itäkeskus.
The L lines of the internal Lieto transport service will continue to operate as before, with familiar routes and line numbers.
