Föli´s trunk line network traffic will start on 1 July 2025
Updated bus network with added trunk lines will bring Föli into a new era 1 July 2025. With the update, the entire bus network within Turku will be renewed, both the routes and the numbers of the lines.
The new trunk lines will create a denser network in the Föli area, making traffic clearer, improving availability and increasing Föli's total traffic volume by around 20%.
In addition to direct connections, the more frequent service intervals and the new ring line (10/10A) will improve the variety of routes and transfers, also outside the Turku market square.
How will the trunk line network affect Paimio from 1 July?
In Paimio, the 700 lines will be maintained and a new ring line will improve interchange connections in Turku.
FöIi's 700-series lines 703-709 will continue to run from Paimio. In addition to the familiar routes, you now have better connections than before.
In particular, the ring line (10/10A) will diversify connections to the entire Föli area. Paimio buses 703-708 intersect with the ring line at Eteläkaari, where you can change buses at the Skanssinmäki and Pyhän ristin kappeli stops. See map of the interchange area. (Opens in a new tab)
The ring line that goes around Turku will intersect with all other trunk lines and will significantly improve interchange possibilities and public transport accessibility throughout the region. In addition, the 10 will take you directly to places such as the Impivaara sports facilities and the Port of Turku. The 10A will take you to places like Skanssi or Raisio's shopping centres. Both also take you to Kupittaa station or Tyks T-hospital.
The new numbering for internal transport in Paimio will be named with the letter P from 1 July, instead of the current PA. The P lines will operate like the existing PA lines, on the same familiar routes.
