Föli's route network will be renewed as of 1.7.2025
The route reform and the new frequent trunk lines brought Föli into a new era as of July 1. With the new routes, the entire network within Turku is renewed, both routes and numbers.
The new routes create a denser network in the Föli area, making traffic clearer, improving accessibility and increasing the total number of Föli services in Turku by about 20%.
In addition to the direct connections, the more frequent departure intervals and the new trunk line (10/10A) will improve the range of routes and changes, also outside Turku square.
How does the change affect traffic in Rusko?
Rusko keeps the 300 series and the ring line improves connections
Rusko will continue to operate Fölin 300 series routes 301-304. In addition to the familiar routes, the new lines provides better connections.
In particular, the ring line (10/10A) diversifyes connections to the entire Föli area. The nearest interchange point to the 10A line from Rusko is Ikea in Raisio. See a map of the interchange point here. (Opens in a new tab)
By the end of 2025, the Rusko directional lines will stop at the same stops on Itäniityntie in front of Ikea as the 10A line, allowing for smoother connections. The 10A line will be available at the intersection of Markulantie and Kuninkojantien in Länsikeskus.
The 10/10A line will cross all trunk lines around Turku and will significantly improve interchange possibilities and public transport accessibility throughout the region. In addition, the 10 will provide direct access to places such as the Impivaara sports facilities and Turku harbor. The 10A will take you, for example, to the Skanssi or Raisio shopping centers and to the center of Raisio. Both will also take you to Kupittaa station or Tyks T hospital.
Rusko's internal traffic V lines will continue to operate as before, with familiar routes and numbers.
