The commuter benefit is an employee benefit similar to a lunch or culture benefit. You can also use the commuter benefit for leisure travel.
The benefit encourages the use of public transport and is tax-free up to €3,400 per year.

Do you already use Epassi or Edenred?
You can easily introduce the commuter benefit through your employee benefits provider.
When you add the commuter benefit to the service, employees can use their benefit balance to top up their Föli card.
Epassi commuter benefit
With Epassi, you can conveniently pay for Föli card top-ups and tickets in the Föli app. Adding Epassi as a payment method in the Föli app only takes a moment, and it will remain available as a payment method for future purchases.
If your Epassi balance is not enough to cover the full price of the ticket, you can pay the remaining amount yourself by adding funds to your OmaRaha balance in Epassi. A 6% service fee is added when paying with Epassi in the Föli app.
You can also pay with Epassi at the Monitori Market Square service point, the Naantali service point, R-kioski stores and Prisma stores in the Föli area. When paying in person, pay with the Epassi app at the checkout and then show the receipt on your phone to the cashier. You can also pay in person using your phone number.
Please note! At the moment, Epassi cannot be used in the Föli app to top up travel cards for discounted customer groups (e.g. students or seniors). Please also note that tickets paid for with Epassi are personal.
Edenred commuter benefit
Edenred Commuter Benefit works with a virtual Edenred Commuter payment card, which can be added to Apple Pay and Google Pay. The card can be used to top up a personal travel card, including Föli travel cards.
You can also pay with Edenred at Föli service points, R-kioski stores and Prisma stores in the Föli area.

As a tax-free benefit, the commuter benefit provides clear savings for both employers and employees, making public transport an even more attractive choice.
A 30-day Föli season ticket costs €57 and includes unlimited travel throughout the Föli area: Turku, Kaarina, Raisio, Lieto, Naantali, Paimio and Rusko.
Föli has no fare zones, so the fare is the same regardless of the length of your journey.

Did you know that you can also offer the commuter benefit directly through Föli?
Föli’s commuter benefit can be offered in an amount of your choice, either as part of the employee’s existing salary or as an additional benefit on top of their salary. It works in a similar way to employees’ lunch or culture benefits.
Employees can use the benefit to top up their travel cards directly in the Föli online shop. We only invoice you for the top-ups made by employees using the benefit – you only pay for actual use.
Promote your commuter benefit with a certificate
When your company uses the commuter benefit, you will receive a certificate image highlighting your cooperation with Föli and featuring both your company’s and Föli’s logos.
You can use the image on social media, your website or in company presentations.
