Seniors

The discount is granted to persons aged 65 and over whose municipality of residence is Turku, Kaarina, Raisio, Naantali, Lieto or Rusko.

Presenting identification is sufficient proof to receive the discount. The card options are the value card and season ticket. The student discount does not cover single tickets.

The discount card can be obtained at any service point. The empty card costs €5.

Accessibility

Almost all buses operated by Turku Region Public Transport are low-floor buses. There are no steps between the front entrance and the entrance in the middle of the bus, which makes it easier for passengers to board the bus and move around inside.

Travelling on a bus with a walker

Customers who use a walker may travel on Föli buses and water buses free of charge during daytime rate hours, i.e. Monday to Friday 9 am–12:59 pm. However, the buses cannot be guaranteed to have enough space even during the day. The rate charged is defined based on the actual time of stepping onto the bus; not based on the scheduled departure of the bus or the estimated bus stop timetables.

Do you need support with travelling with Föli?

Föli-friends are a group of senior volunteers who encourage and help other seniors to use Föli.

The föli-friends will guide you through the things you need to know about using public transport. You can also meet with föli-friends to arrange a trip together for another day. The service is free of charge, but if you travel with föli-friends, you will need to pay for the ticket yourself.
