Ruisrock 4.–6.7.2025

Line 28 to Ruissalo

Line 28 runs to Ruissalo during the Ruisrock weekend on 4–6 July 2025 at more frequent intervals than usual.

Line 28 departs from the Market Square from stop A8 and the charter bus stop outside Wiklund. Check out a map of the Market Square stops here (Opens in a new tab)

The stop closest to Kansanpuisto is stop number 538 on Rauhalantie, which is about one kilometre’s walking distance from the festival area.

Journey to Turku city centre

Plan your steps in Turku with the help of Föli's journey planner (Opens in a new tab)!

You can easily purchase bus tickets with contactless payment upon entering the bus. Single tickets cost 3,15 € for adults. The ticket is valid for 2 hours after purchase and can be used again if or when switching buses.

Föli only has one ticket-zone, so the same ticket can be used in the entire Föli-area.

Festivalgoers arriving at Turku Railway station will find the nearest bus stops outside the station. Line 20 departs from stop 143 which will take you to Turku city centre.

Those arriving to Kupittaa station will also find the nearest bus stops right outside the station. Trunk line 3 departs from stop 846 and will also take you straight to the city centre. 

If you arrive at Turku bus station, you should head to stop 41 and hop on any of the trunk lines (1-9). All trunk lines will take you to the city centre.

Tickets and prices

Contactless payment

You can pay for your Föli ride using contactless payment by debit or credit card, or mobile device.

When you get on a bus show the card reader a debit or credit card, or mobile device that has the contactless payment feature. After that, you can just enjoy the ride.

Single tickets bought using contactless payment cost three euros and are valid for transfers for up to two hours. 

Single tickets

In addition to contactless payment, single tickets are available on the Föli app,  R-kioski shops in the Turku region, ticket machines, and Föli service points.

Single tickets for adults cost 3,15 € and are valid for transfers for two yours.

Single tickets cost 4,15 € when bought on a bus using cash. Please have exact change ready if you want to pay by cash.

Daily tickets

Daily tickets are valid for 1-7 days of unlimited travel on Föli. You can buy daily tickets on the Föli app, service points, and R-kioski shops in the Föli area.

You can also buy one-day daily tickets are from drivers, using contactless payment or cash, or from Föli ticket machines.

A one-day daily ticket costs 8,30 €, a two-day ticket costs 11,40€, and a three-day ticket costs 14,60 €. 

Take a Fölläri bike to Ruisrock

Turku city bikes, also known as fölläri, are an excellent choice for Ruisrock. There are over 700 bikes to choose from and over 200 stations scattered around Turku. You can find the bike stations on Föli's journey planner (Opens in a new tab) and Donkey Republics app.

One-time use of a bike costs 2 euros and with that you can unlock the bike for one hour. Fölläri-bikes are also included in Föli's season tickets. You will have to download the Donkey Republic app to unlock the city bikes.

Note! The bike station at Ruissalo Kansanpuisto is not in use 23 June to 9 July.

The closest bike station in Ruissalo is next to Ruisrock's free bike parking. Follow the signs in Ruissalo to find the bike parking and fölläri-stations!

Water bus to Ruissalo boatyard

Föli water buses will take you from Martinsilta Bridge in the centre of Turku to the Ruissalo boatyard. The walk from there to the festival area is about two kilometres.

Please note! Föli water buses will not stop at Kansanpuisto between Monday 23 June and Wednesday 9 July. 

M/s Jaarli will pass through the Ruissalo Shipyard also on the way out during this time, as an exception. The timetables for other stops will be as usual. 

The fare is paid the same way as on Föli buses; by travelcard, debit card contactless payment, a mobile ticket, or cash.

Please note that water buses have limited space for passengers.

Ruisrock's own festival buses

Ruisrock's own designated festival buses leave from stop 472 Puutori on Maariankatu. The festival buses drop you off next to the Ruissalo bridge, where there are signs directing you for the two-kilometre walk to the festival area.

The festival buses are not part of the Föli transport system, and Föli's tickets are not valid on them.
