How does the school pupil card work?
School pupil cards can be granted by the municipality of residence of a comprehensive school pupil under certain terms and conditions. The card can be obtained by presenting a personal identity code at a Föli service point.
If you misplace your card, you can get a new one at a Föli service point by paying the purchase fee (€5,20). Once granted, the card must be retained for the entire duration of the compulsory education. A previously granted card is used in cases where the right to transport is granted again later due to changes in circumstances.
Föli school card can only be used on school days between 06 a.m. and 7 p.m. The school card is only intended for school trips and not for other travel. The school card can not be used to travel in the evenings after 7 p.m. School card can be used two times a day (to and from school) and the trips have a 75-minute transfer right.
The school card will not work during the summer holiday. If the school day falls on a Saturday, the card is also valid for the Saturday school day.
Föli for school groups
Föli offers a teachers’ travel card with a credit feature. It is intended for the use of comprehensive schools and general upper secondary schools, for groups of pupils travelling under the supervision of a teacher. The card can be used to pay for 1–31 bus trips at once (teacher + 30 pupils).
