Remember to update your student discount for the next semester now!

Hi student! The new semester is underway, and now is the perfect time to make sure your trips with Föli are at student prices, whether you're heading to lectures or just to have fun with friends.

The student discount is usually valid from the start of the autumn semester at your institution until the end of September the following year. However, for some students, the right to purchase may expire as early as the end of January, depending on the duration of your studies.

If the discount right has not been updated, value, double and season cards will work, but they will become adult cards and will be charged at the adult rate to load and use them. If your studies continue, you can update your discount to the next semester.

Easily identify yourself as a student with your Haka login!

If you already have a Föli card, you can upgrade your student discount at the Föli shop (Opens in a new tab). A separate visit to the service point to obtain or renew the student discount is therefore not necessary. Currently, you can log in to Fölishop if you are studying at Turku University of Applied Sciences, Åbo Akademi, University of Turku or Tampere University.

1. Register as a user Fölishop (Opens in a new tab) if you do not already have a profile and log in.
2. On your Fölishop profile page, once logged in, you will find a link to the Haka login to see if you are eligible for the student discount.
3. Once logged in, you can load your travel card at the normal discount price. The discount is valid until the end of the academic year on 30 September.
