Commuter benefits trough our partners

Commuter benefits are also available through our partners. This is the easy way if your company already has a lunch or physical activity benefit for the partner in question.

Electronic commuter benefits are a handy way to provide employer-subsidised transport tickets. Offering electronic commuter vouchers will boost the company’s image and make the business more attractive as an employer. Bus commuters also get more exercise.

Employees utilise the electronic commuter vouchers either on their mobile phones or on separate payment cards. Electronic commuter vouchers are currently offered by Smartum Oy, Edenred Finland Oy and ePassi Payments Oy.

Epassi

Epassi is a mobile employment benefit payment instrument that enables you to pay on-site with a mobile application or by providing your mobile phone number. With Epassi, employers only pay in accordance with actual usage. The service is available for all mobile phones.

You can pay for tickets in the Föli app (Opens in a new tab) using the Epassi Commuting benefit! With Epassi, you can top up your Föli card or buy single tickets. If your Epassi balance is not enough to pay for your ticket in full, you can pay the excess yourself by using your MyMoney balance in Epassi.

You only need to add Epassi as a payment method once, and then you can use it to pay for your tickets in the Föli app for as long as you have a balance left in Epassi. Please note that tickets paid with Epassi are personal.

You can also pay with Epassi at Monitori Market Square, the service point in Naantali, Raisio Library, Föli region's R-kioskis and Prismas.

Edenred Transport commuting benefit

The Edenred commuting benefit is a personal and safe virtual commuter benefit card. The employer can load the commuter benefit to this virtual card online, using Edenred’s ordering and management tool. The benefit works with a virtual Edenred Transport payment card, which can be added to Apple Pay and Google Pay. You can use the card to top up your personal travel card (of HSL and Föli, among other traffic services). The money that will be charged from the card is always the exact sum of the service. The card also supports contactless payment (not usable in busses). Transactions made with the card are verified with a signature instead of entering a PIN code.

You can pay with Edenred at Föli’s service points and Föli region's R-kioskis and Prismas (physical card only).

Smartum commute benefit

The Smartum commute benefit can be ordered through the employer’s Smartum online service. The money for commuting is added to the employee’s Smartum account, and the employee can conveniently pay using the SmartumPay mobile application. The employer may offer and load the commuter benefit for an entire year at a time or make it into a recurring monthly benefit, for example. The money added to the employee’s Smartum account will remain valid for 15 months from the moment it is added. Any money not used by the employee during the period of validity is returned to the employer’s Smartum account to be redistributed.

You can pay with Smartum at Monitori Market Square, Föli region's R-kioskis and Prismas and Föli´s service points in Kaarina, Piikkiö, Paimio and Raisio.

Taxation

Employer-subsidised transport tickets are an employee benefit that is entirely tax-exempt up to 3400 euros.

Did you know that you can also use Föli's own commuter benefit?

The Föli Commuter benefit is a personal benefit that the employee can use by charging their own Föli card. The operating principle is similar to lunch or cultural benefits.

We only charge for employee benefit downloads: you only pay for actual use!
