Exceptions in normal public transport services
May Day
On May Day Eve, 30 April, all lines are operated according to Saturday timetables. Night buses are also available, and they will operate later than usual, i.e., up to around 3:30am.
On May Day, 1 May, all lines are operated according to holiday timetables.
Weekdays on line 8 during the summer season
Weekday departures for line 8 are run at more frequent intervals between 15 May and 3 September.
Water bus service season
Föli’s water buses run daily from 22 May to 28 August. The water buses also operate on Saturdays and Sundays until 17 September. Late water bus departures from Martinsilta Bridge (8:00pm) and Ruissalo Boatyard (8:30pm) are available between 1 June and 12 August. Due to the Ruisrock music festival, there will be changes to the water bus routes in late June and early July.
Ascension Day
On Ascension Day, 26 May, all lines are operated according to Sunday timetables.
School summer holidays
Lines 2, 2A, 2B, 2C, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, 15A, 15B, 21, 21A, 21B, 22, 22A, 22B, 22C, 23, 23A, 23B, 32, 42, 50, 51, 53, 53A, 54, 60, 61, 90, 91, 99, 300, 301, 302, 303, 401, 402, 703, 704, 705, 706, 709, 801, L8, L9, L10, L11, N6, N7 and N11 switch to their school summer holiday timetables on Monday, 5 June, and lines 7A, 32A, 52, 52A, 55A, 62, 67, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 700, 701, 707, 708, K2, K4, K5, K6, L1, L2, L3, L4, L5, L6, L7, L13, N4, N5, N8, N9, N10, N12, V1, V2, V3, V4 and V5 cease to operate, while line N13 starts to operate.
Lines 2, 2A, 2B, 2C, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, 15A, 15B, 21, 21A, 21B, 22, 22A, 22B, 22C, 23, 23A, 23B, 32, 42, 50, 51, 53, 53A, 54, 60, 61, 90, 91, 99, 300, 301, 302, 303, 401, 402, 703, 704, 705, 706, 709 and 801 switch back to school weekday timetables on Monday, 7 August, and lines 32A, 55A, 700, 701, 707 and 708 start to operate again. Lines 7A, 52, 52A, 62, 67, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, K2, K4, K5, K6, L1, L2, L3, L4, L5, L6, L7, L13, N4, N5, N8, N9, N10, N12, V1, V2, V3, V4 and V5 will start operating on Wednesday 10 August, when lines L8, L9, L10, L11, N6, N7 and N11 switch back to school weekday timetables and line N13 stops operating.
Midsummer
On Midsummer Eve, 23 June, all lines are operated according to Saturday timetables, including night buses. On Midsummer Day, 24 June, all lines are operated according to Sunday timetables. Night buses will also operate as usual. On Sunday, 25 June, all lines are operated according to Sunday timetables.
Commuter lines
Lines 80, 90 and 92 will be run at less frequent intervals beginning on Monday, 3 July, and lines 58, 91 and 93 cease to operate. Lines 80, 90 and 92 switch to regular timetables beginning on Monday, 31 July, and lines 58, 91 and 93 start operating again.
Night line
89 Night bus 89 via Halinen – Ylioppilaskylä – city centre – Uittamo – Harittu – Ilpoinen operates the nights between Wednesday and Thursday and Thursday and Friday, between 23 August and 21 September
