02.05.2022

The Föli water bus runs daily from 23 May to 28 August and also on Saturdays and Sundays from 3 to 4 September, 10 to 11 September and 17 to 18 September 2022.

The water bus runs from Martinsilta Bridge (Itäinen Rantakatu) in Turku city centre to Ruissalo. Along the way, it calls at Forum Marinum, Ruissalo Shipyard and the Pikisaari stop in Hirvensalo. All stops and both ships operating on this route are accessible.

The trip is paid in the same way as in Föli bus traffic: with a travel card, contactless payment or mobile ticket. The prices are the same as in bus traffic. Single tickets have a two-hour right to change vehicles in other Föli traffic.

Water bus also runs in the evenings in midsummer

Between 1 June and 7 August, the Föli water bus does an additional daily run from Martinsilta Bridge to Ruissalo Boatyard and back. The additional run especially serves the customers of the Linnateatteri summer theatre in the Ruissalo Boatyard area but also people taking walks or going to restaurants in the area.

The additional evening run is our response to customer demand. Many people have commented that it is a shame you can’t get to and from Ruissalo and the city centre in the evenings. Summer evenings are long and bright, and it is nice to be able to meet demand by extending our operating time, says Lauri Jorasmaa, Head of Public Transport Planning at Föli.

The additional water bus run departs from the Martinsilta Bridge towards Ruissalo at 20:00 and from the Ruissalo Boatyard back to the centre at 20:30. At other times, the last water bus run departs from the Martinsilta Bridge to Ruissalo at 18:30 and back to the centre from Kansanpuisto at 19:15.
