Save CO2 and get rewards in Föli app

Join the focus group to test the new GreenImpact feature on Föli app. GreenImpact automatically detects what mode of transport you are using and calculates its CO2 footprint. This is done in an anonymized way. By choosing to walk, cycle or use public transport more often you will save CO2, improve the air quality in the city and gain climate coins as your personal reward. The coins can be then used to redeem discounts on products and services offered by our climate partners. The app allows you to see how much CO2 you have saved and compete against other cities or companies to see who is climate-friendly and saved the most CO2.

Turku’s goal is to become carbon neutral by 2029 when the city celebrates its 800th birthday. We believe that everyone can make an impact for achieving this goal. To help with this, Föli app has been added a tool that encourages to walk and use transport and thus save CO2 and earn valuable benefits. Föli app aspires to make using public transport so easy and convenient that private cars could be left home more often.

In the beginning, GreenImpact is available for a focus group. Join the group by sending a message to greenimpact@payiq.net (Opens in a new tab) by June 5th, 2023.
