This autumn, we have updated the fölläri citybike station network to better meet the needs of users. We have done so by removing a few stations that were not used much and adding new stations in Hirvensalo and Runosmäki. There are now a total of 203 stations around Turku. You can find all the stations in Föli's route guide, the Turku service map or the Donkey Republic app.
The new stations enable even more extensive exploring the city by citybike. In Hirvensalo, for example, you still have time to greet the cows grazing near the Friskala bird tower. In Runosmäki you can visit Nunnavuori, which rises to a height of more than 63 meters. There is a great view from the top of the hill. The hill has a nature reserve of just under a hectare, because the most significant ancient beach in the Turku region, also known as pirunpelto or devils field. A geological phenomenon that was created on the top of the hill during the ice age.
If the journey seems long, you can go by bus a part of the trip. If you have at least a 30 day subscription on your Föli card, you can take advantage of the right to use the fölläri bikes and combine the use of buses and citybikes freely.
