Child safety seats for Föli lines 6, 7, 7A, 12, 14, 15, 20, 31, 32, 42, 92 and 93

Föli lines  6, 7, 7A, 12, 14, 15, 20, 31, 32, 42, 92 and 93 has child safety seats. There are two seats on each bus at the front and they are fixed onto the seats. The purpose of the seats is to make it safer for babies and children to travel on buses. Safety seats were given scores in the tendering process, as the Turku Region Public Transport Committee considered improving safety an important development step.

The decision to put the seats on these specific lines operated by Nobina was due to the start of a new operating contract. So far, seats have not been installed on other Föli buses, but the situation may change over the years as a result of competitive transport tendering processes and new contracts.

The seats can accommodate a baby or a child up to 4 years old. The weight limit for seats is 18.5 kg and the height limit is 105 cm.
