Mannerheim Park
Mannerheim Park in front of St. Michael’s Church has been a popular ice skating spot since the 1930s. Be sure to also check out the other ice skating fields managed by the City of Turku (Opens in a new tab).

Impivaara ski track
The number one maintained ski track in Turku. Impivaara features ski tracks for both classic and skate skiing and a sledding hill. Skiing equipment can be rented from the ski rental service (Opens in a new tab)(website in Finnish).

Ruissalo
Ruissalo offers plenty to see and experience in the winter. The island features ski tracks, barbecue spots, a bird-watching tower, hiking trails and plenty of other fun activities to enjoy on winter break.

Natural ice in Naantali

Hirvensalo Ski Centre
Hirvensalo offers exceptional conditions for a variety of winter sports. In addition to downhill skiing on slopes subject to an admission fee, you can also enjoy the free-of-charge children’s slope and sledding hill. The ski centre also features a café.

Lake Littoistenjärvi
Littoistenjärvi offers plenty of opportunities for winter break activities: the area features a ski track, an ice skating track and a winter swimming spot.

Kupittaa skating rink
A 500-metre-long ice skating track in Kupittaanpuisto Park, next to Kupittaa Sports Hall. Suitable for skaters of all ages.

Lake Kakskerranjärvi
Kakskerranjärvi is a popular skiing, walking and tour skating destination. The ice can be reached via the public beach, and you can put on your ice skates on the pontoon. If the weather does not permit going on the ice, there is also a ski track nearby at the Harjattula golf course.

Parmaharju nature trails
Parmaharju in Lieto is the starting point of 6- and 9-kilometre-long marked nature trails and a 1.6 km mini trail. The nature trails start from the corner of the Parmaharju barbecue shelter. There are also ski jumping hills originally built in the late 1960s at Parmaharju.

Kerttula ski track in Raisio
Raisio also features some great ski tracks for those looking for things to do on winter break. For example, Kerttula near the town centre features illuminated ski tracks of different lengths, which are also connected to the illuminated Petäsmäki ski track.
