How do I lock and unlock my Föli bike when I would like to make a stop, for example to visit a shop?

You can lock and unlock your vehicle during your rental period. In this case, the bike can only be used by you and it will not be assigned to anyone else before you return the bike to a drop-off location and end your rental.

Here is how you temporarily lock the bike:
1. Press the ‘lock’ button in the app.
2. When the app tells you to press the orange handle down, press it down with your hand. If you could not press it down, please disable Bluetooth and close the Donkey Republic app completely. Then press the lock down with your hand again.
3. Check that the lock is locked. When it is locked, it should not be possible to pull it up by hand.
You can lock and unlock the bike as many times as you like during your rental period. We recommend using bike racks and the chain connected to the bike whenever possible. The chain can be used when the bike is unlocked. To operate the chain lock, insert the end of the chain lock into the appropriate slot before pushing the lock closed and locking the bike using the application.

Note! During the rental period, the bicycle does not always need to be parked in the locations specified by the service. Just make sure that you drop it off and end your rental in the drop-off location assigned by the app.
