Can I make changes to a Föli bike reservation?

Yes, you will be able to make changes to your reservation if, for example, your travel plans change or you have reserved the wrong bike. You can cancel your reservation/rental before unlocking the Föli bike. When you cancel a reservation, you will receive a refund of the amount you have paid.

Before unlocking a bike for the first time, you can also change the bike if you see that there is something wrong with the first bike (or another bike has a more fun name and you would rather take it for a ride). You can use the Donkey Republic app to check if there are any other free bikes nearby.

How to change the bike:
1. Open the application and click on the ‘switch to another vehicle’ button.
2. The application will display a list of Föli bikes located nearby.
3. Tap on the Switch button next to the bike that you wish to rent.

If there are no other bikes available at the pick-up location, you can cancel the rental. Click on the three dots on the bottom of your screen and press ‘cancel rental’.

After you have started using a bike, you can still switch to another bike if other bikes are available. Note: In this case, you must return the bike you were using to the pick-up location where you want to switch to another bike. This means that you may not leave the bike you were using anywhere!

Switching to another bike:
1. Open the app and click on the three-dots button on the vehicle card.
2. Click on the ‘switch to another vehicle’ button.
3. Select the reason why you are switching to another vehicle.

4. Choose the location where you would like to do the switch with the ‘switch at this location’ button
5. Once you arrive next to the bike you would like to use, press ‘lock and switch’ and lock the bike you were using
6. Select your next bike
