Collection of user data

Turku Region Traffic Föli’s online service stores an individual user’s IP address, time of page load and query made in the web server’s log. In some queries, other information may also be stored in connection with the query (e.g. journey planner searches). Users cannot be recognised through cookies or other technologies alone, and our site cannot get a hold of a user’s email address, for example. Turku Region Traffic does not pass on any information collected on the user.

Utilising location information

Some of the foli.fi online service contents (such as the journey planner and bus stop timetable searches) are built to be adaptive, which means that various services are offered based on the location of your mobile device, for example. The use of these kinds of services is based on locating the user. However, the user can choose whether they want to provide their location to the online service. It is also possible to use the service without automatic user location.
