With Föli, Turku Region Traffic, you can travel in Turku, Kaarina, Raisio, Naantali and Lieto as well as Rusko. The ticket prices are the same throughout the area. The name Föli comes from an expression in the southwestern dialect, “ollaan fölissä,” meaning “we’re travelling along” or “we’re on board”.
The price of a single ticket purchased on the bus is €3 for an adult and €1.50 for children under 15 years (after 11pm, the prices are €4 for an adult and €2.50 for a child). A single ticket is valid for two hours, during which you can transfer between buses without limitations. You can only use cash to buy a ticket on board the bus.
If there are multiple journeys, the most practical option is a travel card, which is valid for 1-7 or 14 days. You can use the travel ticket without limitations, also at night-time. With the card you will also be spared from having to carry extra change around!
You can purchase a travel card at Föli service points or through the mobile application. The 24-hour travel ticket can also be purchased from the driver on board the bus. More detailed information on ticket prices can be found on the “Single and travel tickets” site.
A Föli value, season or double card can also be purchased by a non-resident of the area. If you visit the Turku area regularly, you may want to think about purchasing a value card, for example. The sum loaded onto the card is valid for three years from the moment of loading, and on the bus the card is charged €2.20 per journey.
The timetables, route maps and e.g. a bus line guide to popular destinations can be easily found on the Föli website. More detailed guidance regarding the routes and other bus-related issues is available at Monitori Market Square, located by the Marketplace in the centre of Turku, at Aurakatu 8. All of Föli’s ticket products are available for purchase there. Monitori Market Square is open 9am - 6pm on weekdays, and 10am - 3pm on Saturdays. In the other municipalities of the Föli area, tickets are sold at service facilities operated at common information points or libraries.
