Turku region traffic Föli’s water buses will be back on the waves on Monday 24 May 2021. Water buses m/s Jaarli and m/s Ruissalo will run from Martinsilta to Kansanpuisto and Ruissalo shipyard in Ruissalo and Pikisaari in Hirvensalo until 29 August. Weekend traffic will continue until Turku Day on 19 September 2021.

Like Föli’s bus trips, the water bus trips can also be paid with the contactless payment of a bank card. The price ceilings ensure that the price of a day’s Föli trips cannot exceed eight euros and the price of a week’s trips cannot exceed 26 euros. However, you can only pay for a one-person travel with contactless payment. In addition to contactless payment, the water bus can be used with Föli travel cards, mobile tickets and cash.

The mask mandate in force in Föli traffic also applies to water buses. Everyone over the age of 12 must wear a face mask unless they have health-related reasons for not wearing one. It is good to keep a distance from other passengers both on the water bus and while waiting for it.

Despite the coronavirus, the popularity of the water bus was as high as usual in 2020: about 60,000 trips were made.
