Commuter vouchers work the same way as lunch vouchers
Commuter vouchers are a handy way to provide employer-subsidised transport tickets. The voucher works in the same way as a lunch voucher. Employers buy the vouchers and then distribute them amongst their employees. Föli also uses an electronic commuter voucher. From the employer’s point of view, the electronic voucher is easier to use than the paper version. Employees use the electronic commuter vouchers either with their mobile phones or by using a separate payment card.
An employee can charge a travel card with the vouchers at the Föli service points (for now, electronic commuter vouchers can be used to charge travel cards only at the Föli service office at Aurakatu 5, Turku). Commuter vouchers can also be loaded onto value cards, making the job benefit attractive to occasional users of public transport too.
Paper commuter vouchers are ordered by filling out an ordering form by email. The commuter vouchers are sent to the employer by registered letter. The electronic commuter voucher is offered by three operators: Eazybreak Oy, Smartum Oy and Edenred Finland Oy.
Commuter vouchers enable employers to promote easy and environmentally friendly work commutes for their personnel. Such environmental responsibility also improves a company’s image and attractiveness as an employer. Changing from driving to using public transport reduces emissions and costs. Bus commuters also get more exercise. This improves the health and wellbeing of employees.

Invoiced service - travel cards for businesses
As invoiced customers of Föli, companies can buy and load different tickets and products offered by Föli, such as value and season cards. Normally priced travel cards are holder-specific, so companies can purchase value cards for shared use amongst their employees, for example. Ticket prices are as mentioned in the price list, and they are invoiced monthly.
Companies or organisations can apply to become invoiced customers of Föli by email at joukkoliikenne(a)turku.fi. The terms of the service are agreed upon more precisely in the invoicing agreement. Invoicing is not available to private customers, as the invoicing services are only offered to businesses and organisations.
Employers can purchase travel cards for their employees to use for work related travel, for example. Holder-specific travel cards can be used by anyone, so companies can use one or several travel cards amongst their employees. Both season and value cards are available. Season cards suit businesses where employees travel frequently and on a regular basis. Value cards are best suited for occasional users.
The over 300 Föli citybikes in Turku can also be used for travel in the city centre area. The city bike stations are mainly located between the port of Turku and Kupittaa. The city bikes have their own price list.
Install a timetable display screen!
The next departures from nearby bus stops can easily be monitored on a TV screen via a web browser in places such as a company lobby. In order to view timetables, a suitable monitor screen and an internet connection are the only things required. On a timetable display screen, both employees and customers can check the next departure times for buses. Real-time timetable displays can be viewed at omatpysakit.foli.fi. You can choose any stops on the map by clicking the map or by typing the name or number of the bus stop. The next departure times for the selected bus stops open on a new tab. The number of rows visible in the timetable display can be controlled by changing the text in the address bar. For example, type &pagerows=4 (shows 4 rows, the default value is 16 rows).
A paper version of the timetable shows the estimated times of departure and can be printed from the Pysäkkitulosteet tab on the same webpage.

Guest tickets to seminars and events
When a business organises a seminar or an event, customised Föli tickets can be made for guests. They can also be delivered and read electronically, so a travel ticket can be delivered via email or printed straight to an invitation.
