Despite the exceptional circumstances brought on by the coronavirus pandemic, Turku region public transport Föli continues to develop its services. The new bus stop timetables provide more precise information on the lines stopping at the stop than before.

The most noticeable change is that now the schedule and other information on stops with canopies has been compiled onto one poster. The map on the poster has been renewed and it now looks like the map used by the Föli journey planner. The map illustrates the local area around the stop and shows lines stopping at nearby stops, which makes changing buses easier, for example. The smaller map of the entire area placed on top of the larger map shows the location of the stop in the Föli area.

Another new element of the bus stop schedules is the so-called bus stop tree, which illustrates the routes of the lines that stop at that particular stop. The route illustration forks as the routes fork at later stops.

The schedules themselves have been improved to make them easier to read. The estimated stop times of all lines can now be found in the same schedule. In addition to this, lines have been combined if the stop times are the same during consecutive hours. The visuals of the schedules also emphasise readability, even though the colour scheme now includes more of the distinctive Föli yellow.

The new bus stop poster can now be found on approximately 400 bus stops with canopies. Smaller A3 or A4 schedules have also been formatted similarly. A total of approximately one thousand stops around the Föli area now feature the new bus stop schedules.

You can provide feedback on the new schedules via the feedback service (Opens in a new tab).
